How to Make a Monkey Paper Bag Puppet - Final Picture

Who doesn't love monkeys? We sure do around here. A great way to have fun with monkeys is to make a monkey paper bag puppet. It's easy to make and lots of fun to play with after you are done. Especially if you make other paper bag puppets, such as an elephant paper bag puppet.

How to Make a Monkey Paper Bag Puppet - Ingredients
What You Need: 
  • Small Paper Bag
  • Construction Paper (brown and tan)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons/Markers
What You Do: 
  1. From the construction paper, cut out shapes of the ears, face and tail. (Click here for the monkey face, ears and tail template or go to the bottom of the instructions.)
  2. Glue the ears to the sides, tail to the back, and face to the top of the bag flap.
  3. Draw eyes, nose, and mouth with a crayon/marker.
  4. Have a puppet show!
